Pork Stew with Green Sauce

Ingredients
1 pound Tomatillos, raw |
1/2 large Green bell peppers (chopped) |
1 medium White onions (chopped) |
2 tsp., leaves Dried oregano |
1 tsp.. Ground cumin |
1/8 tsp. Cayenne pepper |
1/2 tsp. Salt |
1 to taste Black pepper |
1 lb Pork, fresh, loin, whole, separable lean only, raw (cut into 1/2 - 3/4 inch cubes) |
Instructions
Place the tomatillos, green bell pepper, onion, oregano, cumin, cayenne pepper, salt and pepper in a blender and puree until smooth.
Place the pork and the green sauce in a medium stock pot or dutch oven. Stir well. Place the pot in the oven and cook for 1 hour. Serve over rice.
Serve this recipe with one of these starch side dishes.
