The table below will help you determine your goal weight.
First, find your height in the left column. Then read across
the row for your Ideal Body Weight. This is an estimated target weight
based on CDC and World Health Organization guidelines. There can be other
factors in determining your goal weight, so it’s important to check with
your physician about what is a good target for you.
After you have identified an Ideal Body Weight, there is
an estimate for the total caloric intake needed for weight loss (to get
to that weight) as well as a maintenance diet (to maintain that weight
once you’ve achieved your goal).
Once you have determined your daily caloric intake, click
on the number to see the number of servings you should be eating at each
meal, along with more information and your shopping list for the first
week.
