Tropical Melon Smoothie

Ingredients

1/2 cup Nonfat Greek Yogurt
3/4 cup, diced Fresh cantaloupe
1/3 cup Mango nectar, canned

Instructions

Place the yogurt, melon, banana and papaya juice in a blender and blend on high until smooth.

Recipe Notes

A smoothie can make a great breakfast if you’re on the run and only have a few seconds. Use a base of non-fat yogurt for a good protein source and a lot of fruit for good carbs and fiber.

It is best to have the fruit chilled and putting it in the freezer for about 20 to 30 minutes before adding to the blender makes a super ice cold smoothie.

Using papaya or mango juice gives the smoothie a good thick texture and are easy on the stomach.  You can use about a half cup of fresh mango or papaya also.
