Stewed Black Beans – HmF

Ingredients

2 tsp. Olive oil
1 medium White onions (small dice)
3 clove Garlic, raw (minced)
1 pepper Jalapeno pepper (stemmed, seeded, and minced)
2 15 ounce can Canned no salt added black beans (drained and rinsed)
1 15-ounce can Tomatoes, crushed, canned
1/4 tsp. Salt
1 to taste Black pepper
2 Tbsp, ground Ground cumin
1 Tbsp. Ground coriander
1/4 100 grams Smoked paprika

Instructions

Place a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the olive oil and onion and cook until the onion starts to become translucent, about 4-5 minutes.

Add the garlic and jalapeño and sauté until fragrant, about 2-3 minutes.

Add the remaining ingredients and cook for an additional 10 minutes, stirring frequently.

Remove the pan from the heat and serve.
