Stewed Black Beans

Ingredients
2 tsp. Olive oil |
1 medium White onions (small dice) |
3 clove Garlic, raw (minced) |
1 pepper Jalapeno pepper (stemmed, seeded, and minced) |
1 15 ounce can Canned no salt added black beans (drained and rinsed) |
1 15-ounce can Tomatoes, crushed, canned |
1/4 tsp. Salt |
1 to taste Black pepper |
2 Tbsp, ground Ground cumin |
1 Tbsp. Ground coriander |
1/4 tsp.. Smoked paprika |
Instructions
Place a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the olive oil and onion and cook until the onion starts to become translucent, about 4-5 minutes.
Add the garlic and jalapeño and sauté until fragrant, about 2-3 minutes.
Add the remaining ingredients and cook for an additional 10 minutes, stirring frequently.
Remove the pan from the heat and serve.
