Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches will keep well, refrigerated, for 24 hours or so, but are best served immediately.
Ingredients
2 slices Whole wheat bread (or gluten-free whole grain bread) |
2 Tbsp. Peanut butter, no salt added (or nut-free 'peanut butter') |
1 Tbsp. Jams and preserves (flavor of your choice) |
Instructions
Spread the peanut butter (or nut-free butter) on one piece of whole grain bread.
Spread the jelly on the other piece of whole grain bread.
Place the two pieces of bread together with spreads on the inside.

Look for at least 2 grams of fiber per slice of bread and make sure the bread has no added sugar. Yes, most preserves will have added sugar.
