Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich

Ingredients

2 slices Whole wheat bread (or gluten-free whole grain bread)
2 Tbsp. Peanut butter, no salt added (or nut-free 'peanut butter')
1 Tbsp. Jams and preserves (flavor of your choice)

Instructions

Spread the peanut butter (or nut-free butter) on one piece of whole grain bread.

Spread the jelly on the other piece of whole grain bread.

Place the two pieces of bread together with spreads on the inside.

Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches are great for you, with whole grain bread, legumes (peanuts), and a bit of fruit. Look for at least 2 grams of fiber per slice of bread and make sure the bread has no added sugar. Yes, most preserves will have added sugar. If this concerns you, look for preserves with non-nutritive sweeteners.
