Beer Braised Cabbage

Beer Braised Cabbage

Ingredients

1 tsp. Olive oil
1 small head Cabbage, red, raw (cored and thinly sliced)
1 Cup Beer (or gluten-free beer)
1/4 tsp. Salt
1 to taste Black pepper
1 ounce Semisoft goat cheese

Instructions

Place the oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Add the sliced cabbage and cook, tossing frequently, for about 5 minutes.

Add the beer, salt, and pepper and toss well. Cover and reduce the heat to low.

Cook, stirring occasionally, for about 20 minutes until soft.

Serve topped with the goat cheese.
