Recipe Notes

You may have had an avocado crema like this at a Mexican or Southwestern restaurant. It make a great topping for almost anything, with all of the flavors coming through just right – lime, garlic, avocado, and cilantro. Some versions are a bit spicy, and you could add some crushed red pepper flakes or a bit of cayenne pepper to this recipe and the crema will really pop.

"'Women are the ones with the cojones,' said Paco as he made a bowl of guacamole. 'We guys like to think we’re the ones, but we’re wrong.'"
