Equipment
Food Processor
Purchasing a single use small appliance can be challenging. There are so many that simply sit idle and are rarely used.
A food processor is great for specific jobs but especially for larger quantities. Slicing with a knife is easier if there are a small amouth of mushrooms or onions and there’s much less clean up. Same goes for grating cheese. However, for a large quantity it is really worth having a food processor.
There are a few tasks that it is indispensable for and can’t be accomplished with other appliances (see Blender), such as making bread crumbs or cracker crumbs, blending thick ingredients like hummus or making batter for recipes like cheesecake.
