I have a lasagna recipe which requires 200 grams of gorgonzola, crumbled. Is this cheese widely available at supermarkets or is there an alternative I could use? The recipe is for 'spinach and ricotta lasagna with pine nuts'.
Gorgonzola cheese is an Italian blue cheese. You could use almost any blue cheese but look for a mild blue cheese as an alternative. Saga blue cheese is a Danish cheese that's milder and widely available.
